Silver Karuwa
Product Number : 11062Silver Karuwa is a traditional Nepali silver vessel, often used for puja, religious ceremonies, weddings, special occasions and as a meaningful gift. It is valued not only for its beauty but also for its cultural and traditional significance.
✨ Important things to know
* Silver naturally tarnishes/darkens over time due to exposure to air, moisture and chemicals. This does not necessarily mean the silver is poor quality.
* Avoid contact with perfume, lotion, hairspray, chlorine and strong cleaning chemicals.
* If used for puja or drinking purposes, keep it clean and dry after every use.
* Do not store it while wet or damp.
* Silver is a relatively soft metal, so avoid dropping or hitting the Karuwa.
* Store it in a soft cloth or jewellery pouch, preferably somewhere dry and away from humidity.
* For valuable or detailed pieces, professional silver cleaning/polishing is safer than harsh household chemicals.
🧼 Simple care
After use → wash gently → dry completely → wipe with a soft cotton cloth → store dry.
If the Karuwa develops a dark layer, it can usually be professionally polished back to its shine.
